New Braunfels Is Abloom

Oh my gosh!! The crepe myrtles this month have been extraordinary. They are on practically every street in the city. In colors of pink, magenta, lilac, lavender, dark red, white, and deep coral their thick, abundant blossoms draw the eye whether decked out in bushes or 20′ tall trees. It’s amazing. I wonder if the tourists here for the river tubing and/or Schlitterbahn have noticed or have such a site where they live? In all the places I have lived, I have not seen such glorious flora.
