Pumpkin Cheesecake Supreme

Unfortunately, pumpkin cheesecake is seasonal; we have been waiting for it since last December. We thought that Mamacita’s Pumpkin Cheesecake was the best and have been asking for it since August. We were told it would probably be available towards November. However, Mamacita’s does not make the cheesecakes on their dessert menu; they come from The Cheesecake Factory.

At the end of our road trip a couple weeks ago, we stopped at Olive Garden in Temple. For dessert we were delighted to find that their pumpkin cheesecake was available, so we shared a slice. It was very good. We concurred that it may even have been better than last year’s Mamacita’s offering, but we would have to do a comparison taste test.

So last week, after dinner, we tried a slice of Mamacita’s/Cheesecake Factory and found it lacking, tasty but not as good as we remembered. Tonight, we went to Olive Garden here in New Braunfels, just for dessert, and ordered their pumpkin cheesecake. We were given a huge serving that no individual could ever finish. It looked yummy. It smelled yummy. After one bite, we looked at each other and agreed: It was Superb! Outstanding! Unbeatable!! They win!!
