*Gas is now $3.09 at almost every station. Changed last week, dropping down more than a dime per gallon at most pumps. ‘Magine that! Raise it up for a week or three and drop it down for traveling holidays. Supply and demand, folks, supply and demand. Another thing to be thankful for on turkey day? (and the sarcasm drips…)
*The super-duper-do-nothing committe of twelve could not come to a concensus about budget cuts and deficit reduction. http://news.yahoo.com/bush-tax-cut-debate-dooms-deal-cut-deficit-081314659.html. As was remarked on NPR this morning, “It was doomed from the start with six Democrats and six Republicans…” They walked away from their appointed task with nothing but blame for the other side and no regrets. What a farce! Unfortunately, it’s not funny. How about committing to a committee of top-notch, objective economic experts? When a corporation’s infrastructure fails to solve a major problem, isn’t someone neutral brought in from the outside to settle issues and find credible solutions? However, that being said, WE are paying these BOZOS to take care of this country and do what is best for EVERYONE. It is THEIR job to work TOGETHER for the common good. If they cannot do their job, yank them out and put in replacements who will. A sullen storm is brewing, Congress, a rebellious storm is brewing!
*I’m feeling chipper and full of spunk. The sun is out again; the air is less humid and a tad cooler. I love seeing the sun beaming down and through green, healthy trees and plants. The leaves fluttering in the wind reminds me of being a kid and running with joy.
